Before we start,
I want to know who's in the room.
Two sessions on design. I'd rather build them around the people actually attending than teach the same thing I'd teach anywhere.
A few of these ask what you think, not what you know. Answer honestly — if you've never opened a design app in your life, that's genuinely useful for me to know.
— Shalom Eshetu, brand identity designer
Who you are
Only so I can send you the files and tools after the sessions. Nothing else.
What you've actually made
Be honest here — it decides what I can actually send you home with.
How you see
Nothing here is a test of what you've studied. I want to know what you notice.
This is the most useful answer on the whole form. Don't try to sound like a designer — just say what you see. One sentence is fine.
Anything — a bank, a café, a Telegram channel, a bus wrap, a shop sign. It doesn't have to be good.
Why you're here
I'll answer as many of these as I can, out loud, in session two.
Two last things
Your answers go only to Shalom, are used only to build these two sessions, and are not shared with anyone.
Got it. Thank you.
I read every one of these myself. What you wrote will change what I put on the screen — you'll probably recognise your own words in the session.
